An evangelist with the Afar tribe in Africa. We support a total of over 1000 evangelists worldwide.
Our concern is to build the Kingdom of God and to plant churches. We want to lead these churches to become independent, in order that they in turn may continue the work unaided. In Russia, which is one of the main focuses of our work, we can see with gratitude that this goal has been reached in many locations. Worldwide more than 200 churches have been planted through the ministry of the AVC.
We lead evangelistic and mission trips and send out missionaries. But we also support indigenous churches and workers. Among other things, indigenous workers have the advantage of being more familiar with the language and culture than missionaries could ever be. They are released for full-time ministry through sponsorship programs for evangelists. (If you are interested, please contact the AVC office.)
Bible schools are used to train new workers and prepare them for ministry. Our spiritual work is almost always accompanied by humanitarian aid.
But we also want to win people for Jesus here in Germany. Especially by means of our annual conferences and supporters' meetings and through visits to churches we endeavor to motivate local churches for the tasks of evangelism and mission (if you are interested, please contact the AVC office).
