AVC / NEHEMIA Russia
We have been working in Russia for over 30 years. At first we were secretly transporting Christian literature and making contact with Christians.
Since the fall of the “Iron Curtain” more than 100 churches have been planted from St. Petersburg to Lake Baikal.
For years these churches have been particularly involved in helping countless addicts who experience the liberating change and power of Jesus Christ in their lives.
Current activities of AVC and NEHEMIA:
• Planting many churches, particularly in Siberia
• Building many meeting rooms for churches
• Extensive rehab work with addicts
• Biblical training for local workers
• Aid for the poor and work with street children
• Several German and many native workers
